“Lady Soldiers”

Lyn has a passionate interest in telling the stories of
ordinary Australians. In 2011 she received a grant from the Department of
Veteran Affairs to produce ‘Lady Soldiers’, which tells the stories of 16 women
who served in the Australian Army during the period 1950 to 1990.
Ravensthorpe Community Centre Red Room
from 3:30pm to 6:00pm
A viewing of the film, followed by an alfresco BRING-A-PLATE meal after
which audience members are invited to share their own family service stories
and show any family memorabilia.
